Peru Wrestling Results

Tournament of Champions

America's Only National Modified Wrestling Championships
Named America's #1 Youth Tournament
The Largest One-Day Tournament in the World

Six Peru Wrestlers traveled to the Tournament of Champions at Columbus Ohio.
Peru had an outstanding performances by all six wrestlers.
This event featured State Champions and State Qualifiers from their perspective States in 64 man brackets on 30 mats at the Columbus Convention Center.
Peru had two wrestler storm through these monster brackets to the Championship matches.


In the High School division Peru Freshman and IHSAA State Finalist Jordan Rader reached the Championship match in dominate Jordan Rader fashion to face senior,T.J. Lambiotte from State Champion Parkersburg South from West Virginia.


Peru Junior Erik Hobbs had his best performance of the year in the High School division at 220 by smashing his way to the finals.
Erik Hobbs scored an overtime takedown to avenge an earlier season loss to IHSAA State Finalist, Evan Ellis of Eastern High School in the semi-finals to advance into the Championship match to face Ohio State placer Floyd Rogers of Green Ohio for the Championship.
