Peru Wrestling had a great tournament and placed 9th as a team. Peru had four individuals place in the top 8. All 14 Peru wrestlers scored points. Peru was in 3rd place after the first round ended on day one with 12 wrestlers in the winners bracket. This 32 team tournament featured several returning state champions and the brackets were filled with state qualifiers and ranked wrestlers. Peru will travel to Northview High School Saturday January 4th to wrestle in the Greg Shultz Memorial tournament against Terre Haute North, Terre Haute South, South Vermillion, North Knox, Martinsville, Northivew and Plainfield.
